Searching for Real Estate in Tokyo

Japan’s various real estate associations (divided by region) does offer a Multiple Listing System (MLS). However, unlike in most western markets, it lacks the features, such as allowing Tokyo real estate brokers to set up clients on custom searches and sending by email listings which fit specific parameters such as price, Tokyo location, type of real estate, average price per square meter, etc.

In fact most listings do not even include photos. The only photos one might see on the Internet of properties in Tokyo is very pricey office buildings and developments by the exclusive and large real estate developers in Tokyo, most of whom only offer content in Japanese.
